Meet the team

Jon Burrage - Owner

Jon is co-owner of The Triathlon Shop and has sixteen years of experience racing in triathlons in the Midlands, Cornwall and Bristol areas. Jon is dad to a very active little man called Sebi.

Before triathlon Jon was a national standard javelin thrower before a serious back injury ended his Olympic ambitions. Triathlon has turned out to be the perfect sport for him and he is aware that he represents a lot of people who have come to the sport having been injured in their previous sporting life.

Having moved to Bristol in 2008 Jon saw that there was a real lack of genuine tri shops in the Bristol area despite a thriving triathlon community so in 2011 he decided to leave his job training kids to cycle and start The Triathlon Shop.

Jon Gentle - Store Manager

'Jonny G' has 9 years experience of the cycling industry with 5 years of racing under his belt within duathlon and more recently triathlon and ultra running. His energy and enthusiasm for the sport is infectious - powered by love and beans.

Holly is a sports and remedial massage therapist and being in rehab for knee surgery herself understands all you athletes out there who have suffered from injury. She is also a certified level 2 RockDoc.
